On 31 January 2017, Murraylink submitted its revenue proposal, proposed negotiating framework, proposed pricing methodology to the AER and supporting information to the AER. The proposal sets out the revenue Murraylink proposes to collect from electricity consumers through transmission charges from 2018 to 2023.

We published an issues paper for Murraylink. The paper considers revenues that Murraylink can earn for the five-year period starting 1 July 2018. We invited written submissions on this paper. Submissions closed on 12 May 2017.

We invited interested parties to make submissions on Murraylink's regulatory proposal and AER issues paper by 12 May 2017.

The AER held a public forum on Murraylink's regulatory proposal. The Murraylink public forum was held in Adelaide (and by VCU conference) on Monday 10 April 2017.

Under clause 6A.9.4 of the NER, the AER's transmission determination for Murraylink must set out the Negotiated Transmission Service Criteria (NTSC). The NTSC determined by the AER must give effect to, and be consistent with, the negotiated transmission service principles set out in clause 6A.9.1 of the NER. Murraylink does not currently provide any negotiated services. However, these criteria will come into effect if Murraylink provides negotiated services.

We invited submissions on the NTSC by 7 July 2017. No submissions were received.
