The AER developed a draft return on debt illustrative model (in excel spreadsheet form). It calculated the regulated return on debt in accordance with the most common scenarios under the 2018 rate of return instrument.

We invited written submissions on our draft return on debt illustrative model. Submissions closed on 4 October 2019.

We received one formal submission. We also received an informal submission from Energy Networks Australia which identified a typographical error in a cell formula.
