Under clause 6.10.3 of the transitional chapter 6 rules, Essential Energy (Country Energy), (EnergyAustralia) and Endeavour Energy (Integral Energy) (the NSW DNSPs) may submit revised regulatory proposals to the AER. Information that has been blacked out in the revised proposals is confidential.
In its draft decision, the AER required the NSW DNSPs to submit their proposed schedules for fixed prices and price path to the AER by 16 January 2009 using the approach set out in section 17.6.11 of its draft decision.
Additional information on the NSW DNSP’s approaches can be found in the alternative control services chapters of their revised proposals.
The AER expects to undertake the following consultation regarding the NSW DNSPs’ proposed schedules of fixed prices and price path for alternative control services before making its final decision:
- on 9 March 2009 the AER will publish its proposed 2009-10 tariffs and the AER’s proposed price path for each NSW DNSP and seek submissions
- submissions on the AER’s proposed tariffs and price paths will be due by 23 March 2009
- the AER will include in its final determination (April 2009) a schedule of fixed prices and a price path for each NSW DNSP.
