On 1 April 2018, Energex submitted to the AER an annual pricing proposal for the Queensland electricity distribution network for the period 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019.
The AER will now assess Energex's pricing proposal for compliance against the distribution determination price controls, its approved 2017-20 Tariff Structure Statement and for whether all energy consumption estimates are reasonable, as required by the National Electricity Rules.
Decision
On 18 May 2018, the AER published the approved Energex's 2018-19 pricing proposal.
