The Applicant's exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law has now come into effect. The exemption is provided for in the AER's Exempt Selling Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions attached to the R1 class exemption.

Applicable conditions for R1 class exemption
This exemption relates specifically to the sale of energy within the extension to the Macarthur Square Shopping Centre. A separate application has been received for the sale of energy within a proposed network conversion at the rest of the premises.
