The Registrant's exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law has now come into effect. The exemption is provided for in the AER's Exempt Selling Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions attached to the R2, R5, R6 and R7 class exemption.

Before 28 October 2019, this exemption was held by Island Resorts (Infrastructure) Pty Ltd / ABN 18 613 379 221.
From 15 December 2022, registered exemptions for this site were replaced by an individual exemption granted to South Stradbroke Utilities Pty Ltd.
