On 11 January 2022 the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved Stockland Aevum Limited's (Stockland) application for an individual exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law at Cardinal Freeman The Residences.
Background
On 1 March 2016 Stockland registered exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law at Cardinal Freeman The Residences, 137 Victoria Street, Ashfield NSW.
On 21 September 2021 the AER accepted an application from Stockland for an individual exemption to include additional buildings at this site (Glentworth House and Seaview Heights) that were not subject of the exemption registered on 1 March 2016.
Submissions from interested stakeholders on Stockland's application closed on 22 October 2021. No submissions were received.
Change of registered business
On Friday 26 August 2022 Stockland Aevum Limited's name changed to Levande Pty Ltd.
Variation of conditions
On 13 December 2022 the AER proposed to vary the conditions of Levande Pty Ltd's exemption to reflect the updates made to the conditions set out in its Retail Exempt Selling Guideline. Submissions from interested stakeholders on the variation closed 25 January 2023. No submissions were received.
On 10 April 2023 the AER varied Levande Pty Ltd's exemption to reflect the legal name change and include two new conditions.
