On 6 March 2024, the AER published a discussion paper commencing consultation on the form of regulation review for the South West Queensland Pipeline (SWQP). The discussion paper outlined how we would approach the review, set out the key issues for the review, and invited submissions from stakeholders on these issues. 

We also published a fact sheet which provided a summary of what the review was looking at, what changing the regulation of the SWQP would mean, and the key issues we sought stakeholder views on. The fact sheet was targeted at explaining the relevance of the review to pipeline users, and the main issues we sought their views on.
