On 19 November 2015, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved a retailer authorisation application from ElectrAg Pty Ltd (ElectrAg) under the National Energy Retail Law. ElectrAg is now authorised to retail electricity as and when the National Energy Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the application closed on 10 August 2015. No submissions were received.
