On 12 January 2022 Ergon Energy submitted a streamlined waiver application under clause 5.2 of the Ring-fencing guideline (electricity distribution). The waiver requested that the AER waiver the obligations under clause 3.1 to allow Ergon Energy to supply excess capacity for 5 batteries.
