On the 4 December 2015, APA VTS Australia (Operations) Pty Ltd formerly known as Victorian Transmission System (GasNet), (sometimes known as Victorian Transmission System, VTS the Principal Transmission System, PTS or GasNet system) is a covered pipeline under the National Gas Law and Rules. Constructed between 1969-2008 it consists of approximately 2035 kilometres of gas transmission network in the state of Victoria.
Regulatory period: 1 January 2013 - 31 December 2017
'Covered by regulation' pipelines are subject to regulatory arrangements under the National Gas Law. The AER regulates pipelines outside Western Australia (where the Economic Regulation Authority is the regulator).
