On 7 August 2024, TasNetworks wrote to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) requesting a determination on its 2023–24 network support pass through application. TasNetworks’ network support pass through application is in relation to the difference between actual network support payments and the forecast network support payment amount for 2023–24 included in TasNetworks' 2019–24 revenue determination. The AER assessed the application in accordance with clause 6A.7.2(i) of the NER.
On 28 November 2024, the AER published its assessment of TasNetworks' 2023–24 network support pass through application. The positive pass through amount is $417,440 ($Dec 2025).
