On 9 November 2021 Murraylink submitted an application under clause 6A.7.3 of the National Electricity Rules (NER) to the AER for a negative pass through of costs due to its actual connection charges for 2020–21 being lower than what was forecast in Murraylink’s 2018–23 revenue determination.

Murraylink’s application proposes to refund $838,277 to its network users through a reduction in transmission prices in 2022–23.
