The AER will be holding a forum to discuss our proposal to make the AER Compliance Procedures and Guidelines (Procedures and Guidelines) for gas pipeline service providers with interested stakeholders.
The stakeholder forum will explore the topics raised in our Issues Paper, including:
- whether there is any further information that will assist service providers in understanding the regulatory framework
- if the additional guidance for the use of the response template for the Annual Compliance Order is fit for purpose, and
- comments on the proposed use of AER audit powers.
This forum is an opportunity for stakeholders to hear the AER discuss the regulatory framework for gas pipelines and our approach to developing the Procedures and Guidelines, and to share their thoughts on the draft Procedures and Guidelines.
It will be held online via Microsoft Teams from 1pm to 2pm AEST on Monday 9 September 2024.
