SA Power Networks has submitted a waiver application under provision 4.2 of the Ring-fencing Guideline (Electricity distribution). This waiver would enable SA Power Networks to trial flexible export limits by testing various DNSP retailer partnership models.
The trial is proposed for a 12 month period and is co-funded by ARENA with trial partners including SA Power Networks, Simply Energy and AGL. Submissions on the waiver applications close on 15 March 2024.
