On 30 March 2023, the AER released its determination on Energex’s 2022 February-March flooding cost pass through application. We are satisfied that the 2022 February-March flooding met the definition of a natural disaster pass through event, and the materiality threshold to constitute a positive change event.

The AER has approved a positive pass through amount of $18,080,896 ($nominal, smoothed) to be recovered in 2024-25.
