The ACCC, at the request of the members of the Snowy Mountains Council and in accordance with its responsibilities under the National Electricity Code, conducted an inquiry into the appropriate revenue cap to apply to the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Authority's (SMHEA) transmission network for the five year period commencing 1 July 1999 to 30 June 2004.
