On 26 September 2003, TransGrid submitted to the ACCC its application (other than attachments 8, 9 and 15) in relation to the reset of TransGrid's revenue cap for the second regulatory period commencing 1 July 2004.

On 16 October 2003, TransGrid submitted attachment 9 to the ACCC. On 21 October 2003, TransGrid submitted attachment 8 and on 22 October 2003, TransGrid submitted attachment 15 to the ACCC.

The ACCC called for interested parties to make submissions to TransGrid's revenue reset application.  Submissions closed 14 April 2004.

On 8 April 2004, the ACCC received a final report from its consultant, GHD, on the appropriateness of TransGrid's revenue cap application. GHD reported on TransGrid's past capital expenditure, forecast capital expenditure, forecast operating expenditure and service standards.

On 26 March 2004 the ACCC called for interested parties to make submissions on its consultant's review of TransGrid's proposed revenue cap.
