The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline (Network Exemption Guideline), and is subject to a number of conditions.

Exemption class applicable conditions
The registrant confirms that this site has been/will be retrofitted. For more information, refer to the Network Exemption Guideline.
The exemption applies to energy sales to residential customers. It requires exemption holders to join their state or territory energy ombudsman scheme.
Cancellation of registration
On 28 June 2023, the AER received notice from Bulahdelah Residential Village Pty Ltd of the cancellation of exemption on the grounds that it no longer owns or operates or sells electricity at the site.
