AER seeks stakeholder views on whether to replace or amend the current Framework and Approach for Powerlink

The AER invites stakeholder views on whether to replace or amend the current Framework and Approach (F&A) paper that applies to the Queensland electricity transmission network service provider, Powerlink, for the 2022-27 regulatory control period. The F&A provides direction to a service provider on how certain aspects of its regulatory proposal should be framed. Stakeholder input on the F&A is important as the decisions made at this early stage will inform Powerlink's upcoming revenue determination and influence the regulatory arrangements. The F&A is important because it provides an opportunity for interested parties to have a say on which incentive schemes should apply to Powerlink to encourage efficient investment and performance and how we should apply our Expenditure Forecast Assessment Guideline when assessing its expenditure proposal.
