On 26 September 2019, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved a gas retailer authorisation from Humenergy Group Pty Ltd (Humenergy) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law). Humenergy is now authorised to retail gas as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the application closed on Thursday 23 May 2019. No submissions were received.
