On 17 July 2014, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from PPA Direct for an individual electricity exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law.
Submissions closed 18 August 2014. No submissions were received.
On 2 September 2014, the AER granted an individual exemption to PPA Direct for electricity.
