On 31 January, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) granted an individual exemption to Smart Commercial Solar from the requirement to obtain an electricity retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law.
The AER sought public submissions on Smart Commercial Solar's application for an individual exemption. Consultation on the application closed on 20 December 2013. No formal submissions were received.
