On 28 October 2013, the AER released its draft decision on the regulation of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) remote services in Victoria for SP AusNet.
The draft decision relates to SP AusNet's statement of proposed charges and terms and conditions for the provision of AMI remote services. These charges and terms and conditions will take effect in the period 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2015.
Invitation for submissions
Interested parties are invited to make written submissions on this draft decision to the AER by close of business AEDST Friday 15 November 2013.

The AER prefers that all submissions be sent in an electronic format in Microsoft Word or other text readable document form and publicly available, to facilitate an informed, transparent and robust consultation process. Accordingly, submissions will be treated as public documents and posted on the AER's website, except and unless prior arrangements are made with the AER to treat the submission, or portions of it, as confidential. Parties wishing to submit confidential information are requested to:
- clearly identify the information that is the subject of the confidentiality claim
- clearly identify the detriment that will occur if the information is disclosed; and
- provide a non-confidential version of the submission.
