The AER is responsible for reporting the performance of electricity distribution and transmission network service providers (DNSP and TNSPs). In accordance with clause 8.7.4 of the NER, prior to preparing network service provider performance reports the AER must consult about appropriate objectives and priorities for the performance reports.
On the 6 April 2011, the AER released its final decision on the priorities and objectives of electricity network service provider (NSP) performance. This is accompanied by the statement of approach, which sets out the AER’s response to submissions on the discussion paper released in December 2010.
