On 30 October 2015, AusNet Services submitted its transmission revenue proposal, proposed negotiating framework and proposed pricing methodology to the AER.
The proposal sets out the revenue AusNet Services proposes to collect from electricity consumers through transmission charges for the five year period 2017–22.
On 20 July 2016, we released our draft decision on AusNet Services' transmission determination for the 2017–22 regulatory control period. We also released a fact sheet to accompany and summarise our draft decision. We held a public forum to explain our draft decision on 9 August 2016; we received two submissions.
On 21 September 2016, AusNet Services submitted its revised revenue proposal for the 2017–22 regulatory control period. The revised proposal contained a significant amount of material, including consultancy reports. In order to consider the new material submitted by AusNet Services the AER revised the release date of the final decision.
On 28 April 2017, we published our final decision on AusNet Services' transmission determination for the 2017-22 regulatory control period.
