The AER is required under Chapter 6A of the National Electricity Rules (NER) to make a transmission determination for Murraylink - the interconnector that linkes the South Australian and Victorian regions in the National Electricity Market (NEM).
On 30 April 2013 the AER made its final decision on Murraylink's revenue proposal for the five year regulatory control period, 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2018.
The release of the AER's final decision followed an 11 month process of assessing Murraylink's revenue proposal. This process involved the release of a draft decision in November 2012 and a revised revenue proposal from Murraylink in January 2013.
