The AER is required to set a revenue cap for the non-contestable elements of the transmission services provided by Powerlink Queensland (Powerlink) for the period 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2012. On 3 April 2006, the AER received Powerlink’s revenue cap application. Copies of Powerlink's letter to the AER, application and information templates are attached.
In accordance with its Statement of Regulatory Principles, the AER has reviewed Powerlink's application and supporting information, and is satisfied that they comply with its information requirements guidelines. Accordingly, the AER is commencing public consultation on Powerlink’s application. Interested parties are invited to provide written submissions to the AER by close of business Tuesday, 13 June 2006.
