On 8 July 2014 the AER released an Issues paper on TransGrid, TasNetworks (Transend) and Directlink's revenue proposals. This paper aims to draw to stakeholders' attention some of the issues in the distributors' proposals that the AER thinks are likely to be important.
Over the next nine months the AER will be scrutinizing the proposals through a public review process. Anyone interested in participating in the review will be able to make written submissions or attend a public forum.
Consumers wishing to make a submission should send submissions to the AER by 1 August 2014. A draft determination is expected to be published in November 2014, and further submissions will be invited at that time. Final determinations will be made by April 2015, with new prices to commence on 1 July 2015.
