The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has publicly released the access arrangement proposals submitted for APT Allgas’s and Envestra Limited’s Qld gas networks for the period 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2016 for consideration and comment by interested parties.
The access arrangement proposals establish the basis for the terms and conditions of access for users and prospective users for the pipelines.
The AER is required to make a decision to approve or not approve the access arrangement proposals. The AER is required to publish its draft and final decisions on the AER’s website.
The AER is seeking submissions on the access arrangement proposals for APT Allgas’s and Envestra’s Qld gas networks for consideration in making its draft decisions on the proposals.
Submissions may be sent electronically to qldsagas
aer [dot] gov [dot] au (qldsagas[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au) by 5 pm A.E.D.T on 26 November 2010.

The AER may, but need not, consider a submission it receives after the consultation period has ended.

Decision making time
The AER is required to make its decisions on these proposals within six months of receipt but it can stop this clock while receiving submissions on the proposals.
The AER has decided a period of 36 days for consultation on the proposals is not counted towards the decision making time for the full access arrangement final decisions.
