The Issues Papers highlight key elements of each proposal and identify the issues that are likely to be the focus of our assessment and engagement with stakeholders.

How to contribute?

Consumer engagement is a valuable input to our determination. We have set out questions throughout the Issues papers. Stakeholders can assist in our process by providing their views on these or any other aspects of the proposals.

You can contribute to our assessment by joining our Public Forums:

Tuesday 9 April, 10am AESTSA Power Networks
Wednesday 10 April, 10am AESTDirectlink
Thursday, April 11, 10am AESTErgon Energy and Energex

We also encourage written submission on the proposal by close of business, 15 May 2024. Further instructions are available in each of the Issues Papers: SA Power Networks, Ergon Energy and Energex, and Directlink

Our process

On 31 January 2024, SA Power Networks, Ergon Energy, Energex and Directlink submitted their revenue proposals for the 2025–30 regulatory period.

The next step in our process, following consultation on our Issues Papers, is to make draft decisions in September 2024, setting out what parts of the proposals we consider can be accepted, and those that we consider cannot be accepted. On any elements of the proposals we do not accept, our draft decisions will substitute alternatives of our own and explain what we consider networks must do to address our concerns in their revised proposals.

Networks will then have an opportunity to submit revised proposals to us by the end of 2024 incorporating any changes, or addressing any matters, raised by our draft decisions.
