The AER has today approved Energex’s pricing proposal for their network tariffs to apply from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015. Today’s decision implements the price path set out in the Queensland 2010–15 final decision with the exception that Energex chose not to recover the full amount of its revenue allowance entitlement for the year. An average customer’s bill will increase by approximately 4.0 per cent as a result of our decision. However, there are many factors determining final electricity prices other than network charges.
