The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has received revenue proposals from Powerlink and TasNetworks.
Powerlink’s proposal is for its Queensland electricity transmission network for the five year period commencing on 1 July 2017. The proposal sets out the revenue Powerlink proposes to collect from Queensland electricity consumers through transmission charges from 2017 to 2022.
TasNetworks’ proposal is for its Tasmanian electricity distribution network for the two year period commencing on 1 July 2017. The proposal sets out the revenue TasNetworks proposes to collect from Tasmanian electricity consumers through distribution charges from 2017 to 2019.
The AER is satisfied that the Powerlink and TasNetworks proposals comply with the requirements of the National Electricity Rules and Law. The proposals have been published on the AER’s website.
