The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has approved Roma to Brisbane Pipelines’ 2021-22 gas reference tariff variation notice in accordance with its 2017–22 access arrangement.

This is the final year of the 2017–22 access arrangement for Roma to Brisbane Pipeline. The access arrangement sets the cost of delivering gas supply to customers over five years.

Each year APA Group submits to the AER for approval a tariff variation notice that contains the reference tariff it proposes to base tariffs on for the upcoming year for the Roma to Brisbane Pipeline.

In 2021-22, the gas transmission pipeline reference tariff will decrease by 10.93% to $0.5802 for Roma to Brisbane Pipeline customers.

More information on our decision to approve can be found in our Statement of Reasons.

The AER acknowledges that energy bills are a concern to many households and businesses. We encourage consumers to use the AER’s EnergyMadeEasy website, our free and independent price comparison tool, to find the best deal to suit their energy needs.
