The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law has now come into effect. The exemption is provided for in the AER's Exempt Selling Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions attached to the R8 class exemption.

The R8 class exemption applies to energy sales under PPA agreements to commercial customers, and to residential customers where the duration of the PPA is less than 10 years and the customer is able terminate the agreement early.
The Registrant confirms they will offer PPAs to both business and residential customers - All PPAs offered to residential customers will have terms of less than 10 years and early customer termination provisions.
