On 31 October 2022, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from Woolworths Group Limited for an individual exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law for multiple sites in NSW, SA and ACT.

Submissions were invited from interested stakeholders on Woolworths Group Limited's (Woolworths) application closing 28 November 2022. No submissions were received.
