On 31 May 2022, the AER accepted an application from STUCCO Co-operative Ltd to cancel the individual exemption it was granted on 18 November 2016 for the sale of electricity at 197-207 Wilson Street Newtown, NSW 2042. STUCCO Co-operative Ltd requested the cancellation of the exemption on the grounds that it is no longer engaged in the activity of selling energy as customers are charged a rental fee that includes energy costs.
