The Applicant's exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law has now come into effect. The exemption is provided for in the AER's Exempt Selling Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions attached to the R2 and R5 class exemptions.

On 14 September 2022, the AER received notice of the cancellation of exemption on the grounds that it no longer owns or operates, or sells electricity at the site.
