The Applicant's exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law has came into effect on 27 September 2016. The exemption is provided for in the AER's Exempt Selling Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions attached to the R2 and R5 class exemptions.
