The Applicant's exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law is no longer in effect. The exemption is provided for in the AER's Exempt Selling Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions attached to the R1 and R5 class exemptions.

On 14 April 2023, the AER received notice from GPT RE Limited / ABN 27 107 426 504 of the cancellation of exemption on the grounds that it no longer owns or operates or sells electricity at the site.
