The Applicant's exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law came into effect on 4 October 2016. The exemption is provided for in the AER's Exempt Selling Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions attached to the R2 and R5 class exemptions.
