On 19 September 2014, the accepted an application from Brookfield District Energy (CP) for an individual electricity exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law to sell energy at 3 Central Park, Chippendale NSW.
This application replaces the application made by Brookfield Cogen Australia Pty Ltd in July 2014.
Submissions on Brookfield District Energy (CP) Pty Ltd's application closed on 17 October 2014. No submissions were received.
Change of registered business name
On 14 October 2019, Brookfield District Energy (CP)'s name changed to Enwave Central Park Pty Ltd.
On 14 September 2020, Enwave Central Park Pty Ltd name changed to CPE Central Park Pty Ltd (CPE Central Park).
Variation of conditions 2023
On 5 May 2023 the AER proposed to vary the conditions of CPE Central Park's retail exemption. Submissions from interested stakeholders on the variation closed 8 June 2023. No submissions were received.
On 4 September 2023 the AER varied CPE Central Park's exemption conditions to include two new conditions.
