On 13 August 2021, the AER accepted an application from Arc Energy Group Pty Ltd (Arc Energy) to cancel the individual exemption it was granted on 8 April 2016 for the sale of electricity at GM Tower. Arc Energy requested the cancellation of the exemption on the grounds that it no longer owns or operates GM Tower and does not sell electricity at 11-15 Deane Street and 20 George Street, Burwood, NSW.
