Under the National Electricity Rules (Electricity Rules), transmission network service providers may apply for an early application of the market impact component of the service target performance incentive scheme. Under this component of the scheme, a transmission business may earn additional revenue of up to 2 per cent of its maximum allowed revenue, if it achieves its performance cap.
