We received applications from AusNet Services (on 12 September 2018) and Energex and Ergon Energy (on 27 September 2018) to apply the new DMIS under clause 11.106.03 of the NER. We approved these applications on 11 December 2018.

The NER requires that, prior to making a decision on these applications, we seek submissions from stakeholders on the proposals from the electricity distributors for the early implementation of the new DMIS.

Energy consumers and other interested parties were invited to make submissions on AusNet Services application by 29 October 2018. No submissions were received.
