On 19 July Australian Energy Ministers – collectively referred to as the MCE – issued an updated statement about the interim value of greenhouse gas emissions. 

This update extends the maximum effective length of the interim value of greenhouse gas emissions from 30 June 2025 to 30 June 2026 or until it is superceded, whichever is earliest. This replaces the date in the original statement and otherwise does not change the content of the statement, or our guidance in response.
