The Applicant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline (Network Exemption Guideline), and is subject to a number of conditions.

Exemption class applicable conditions
Prior to 09 October 2024 The Trust Company (Australia) Limited / ABN 21 000 000 993 was registered as an additional registrant for this exemption.
SCENTRE MANAGEMENT LIMITED / ABN 41 001 670 579 and SCENTRE SHOPPING CENTRE MANAGEMENT PTY LTD / ABN 55 000 712 710 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to SCENTRE MANAGEMENT LIMITED and SCENTRE SHOPPING CENTRE MANAGEMENT PTY LTD takes effect from 09 October 2024.
