The Applicant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline (Network Exemption Guideline), and is subject to a number of conditions.

Prior to 8 January 2024 ENERGY ON PTY LTD / ABN 90 145 225 485 was registered as an additional registrant for this exemption.
The ORIGIN ENERGY ELECTRICITY LIMITED / ABN 33 071 052 287 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to ORIGIN ENERGY ELECTRICITY LIMITED takes effect from 16 January 2024.
