The Applicant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline (Network Exemption Guideline), and is subject to a number of conditions.

Prior to 22 July 2024, Active Utilities Pty Ltd / ABN 78 116 498 803 was registered as an additional registrant for this exemption.
Cleanpeak Energy Retail Pty Ltd / ABN 18 623 916 138 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to Cleanpeak Energy Retail Pty Ltd takes effect from 22 July 2024.
