The Applicant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline (Network Exemption Guideline), and is subject to a number of conditions.

Exemption class applicable conditions
Prior to 31 May 2023 The Trustee for the Active Utilities (Holding) Unit Trust / ABN 43 818 767 917 was registered as an additional registrant for this exemption.
The Active Utilities Pty Ltd / ABN 78 116 498 803 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to Active Utilities Pty Ltd takes effect from 31 May 2023.
